- Reverse: ORIENS AVG, Sol, radiate Sol advancing to right, holding olive branch and bow, trampling captive collapsing to right, head reverted, raising a protective arm; B in left field, XXIR in exergue.
- Sol was the sun god and a majestic figure who drove a flaming chariot across the sky each day.
