Victorian Era Maundy Set brown leather case for holding & displaying a Queen Victoria year set of 4 Maundy coins (1d, 2d, 3d, 4d).
Box produced in the 1880s or 1890s.
This listing is for one box and does NOT include any Maundy coins.
Top of box is imprinted "THE ROYAL MAUNDY MONEY"
Inside box lid is printed "SPINK & SON Ltd / DIE SINKERS & MEALLISTS / 17 & 18 PICCADILLY. / LONDON W."
Hinge and button clasp are functional and in excellent shape.
Light wear with some scuffs, damage noted on bottom of the box (mostly cosmetic).
