- Dated March 1690, issued during the rebellion after the "Glorious Revolution" of William and Mary.
- "Gun Money" was an emergency coinage made from cannon, church bells, etc used for rebellion military payment.
- Obverse: laureate head of James facing left.
- Reverse: Crown with crossed scepters and date 1690 XII (mark of value = 12 pence = 1 shilling) above and Mar: below.
