Almost Uncirculated Great Britain sterling silver Maundy 2 pence coin.
Struck for Queen Victoria at the Royal Mint.
Mint Error variety with 6 engraved over a 1. (Technically not an overdate which is an intentional reengraving over a date to utilize a die during another year). The only example of this type of error on the Victorian Maundy series.
Certified by NGC to AU 58.
Lightly toned with underlying luster, very appealing in hand.
