- Early reign type struck at the Nikomedia Mint (mint mark NIKO), officinia A, during his 2nd regnal year = 611/612 CE.
- Sear 833, copper, approx. 30mm.
- Obverse: D N HRACLI PERP AVG, Draped and cuirassed bust facing with short beard wearing plumed helmet and holding cross.
- Reverse: Large M (value), A/N/N/O to left, cross above, II (date) to right, A below, NIKO in exergue.
