Lustrous surfaces, very appealing in hand.
Well struck with superb portrait and presentation of Victory.
Certified by NGC to Ch AU Strike 5/5 Surface 3/5, clipped, edge filing (not a significant weight loss).
Obverse. D N ANASTA-SIVS PP AVG, pearl-diademed, helmeted, and cuirassed bust of Anastasius I facing, head slightly right, spear in right hand over shoulder, shield decorated with horseman motif in left.
Reverse: VICTORI-A AVGGG B, Victory standing facing, head left, grounded jeweled staff surmounted by reversed staurogram in right hand; star in left field, CONOB in exergue.
