Reverse: Distyle Egyptian portico with papyrus columns, lotus flower capitals and rounded pediment in which disk with uraei, within Isis seated holding right hand to breast nursing infant Harpokrates on throne, in front upright palm leaf, DODEKATOV, L in ex. (date).
Isis is the ancient Egyptian goddess of magic, fertility and motherhood, and death, healing and rebirth.
An appropriate type for this Empress who bore many children, including future Emperor Commodus.
